Frequent Asked Questions

1. What items should I bring with me to the Park?

We recommend you bring casual clothes (bathing suit, shorts, T-shirt, cap and sandals), biodegradable sun lotion, biodegradable repellent, sunglasses and underwater camera. If you don’t have any of these articles you may purchase them in the Park’s stores.

2. Can I pay the entrance fee with my credit card?

Yes. The Park does accept credit cards(visa and master card only).

3. Should I bring cash to the Park?

Yes. The entrance fee can be paid in cash or Credit cards. Some of the additional services like swim with dolphins, snuba, dive shops and restaurants accept credit cards.

4. Can I bring my own food to the Park?

No. However, we have several restaurants inside the Park where you may enjoy snacks, international cuisine and seafood.

5. Can I bring my own snorkel or scuba equipment to the Park?

Yes. You may bring all your equipment. You will also find any snorkel or scuba equipment rentals.

6. Can we use suntan or sun blocker inside the Park?

Yes. But they must be biodegradable so you don’t damage the ecosystem. If you don’t have them, you may purchase them inside the Park.

7. Do you have handicapped facilities within the Park?

Yes. We have ramps, roads, bathrooms and sand wheel chairs available.

8. Do I need a reservation to enter the Park?

No. But we recommend that you make reservations for additional services within the park like swim with dolphins, snuba, sea trek and diving. You may make your reservations at www.cometocozumel.com.

9. Is the Park safe?

Yes. We have teams for customer service, security guards and lifeguards within the Park.

10. Can we swim inside the lagoon?

No. Because of ecological and conservation regulations. We have observation areas where you can see the fish and coral formations. It is not permitted to feed the fish.

11. Can I fish inside the Park?
